Vegan Chocolate at Google YouTube @ Google You Tube Offices

I’m very excited to see the beautiful space that is the Google YouTube offices in San Bruno, CA. Working with this team, including the pastry chef has been a dream. Did you know that the ingredients are local, organic and fair-traded? The pastry team is making the Ganache Glazed Chocolate Torte to Live For, both wheat and gluten free versions and serving the Vanilla Pastry Cream from Vegan Chocolate. My cookbook trailer, as seen on YouTube will be shown and some of the ingredients from the recipes will be set out in an area of the cafe. I’ll be available to answer questions about the recipes. Do you think the googlers will like the cakes? I’ll be surprised if they don’t. Books will be available for purchase.

Author of Vegan Chocolate and renowned New York City pastry chef, Fran will teach guests all about vegan chocolate while demonstrating how to make decadent ganache, pudding, tortes, cakes, frosting, and truffles.

Founder of vegan cheese company, Miyoko’s Creamery, and author of Artisan Vegan Cheese, Miyoko will share the secrets to sumptuous homemade vegan cheese while preparing feta, cream cheese, and her French-inspired favorites.

Guests will be treated to champagne and sparkling lemonade, a cheese buffet, tastings, a chocolate dessert plate, and a specially crafted chocolate and cheese goodie bag to take home. GoogleLA Vegan Chocolate Demo @ Google LA

See the Frank Gehry-designed Binoculars Building just two blocks from the beach and you’ll have found Google Los Angeles. I’m certainly looking forward to doing an Authors@Google talk and demonstration cooking class. As this is google, the food is fresh, organic and very vegan friendly. I’m making the Chocolate Torte to Live For, Ganache Glazed and serving the cakes with Vanila Cream and fresh berries. A YouTube Video will be made and I’ll post the link. Working at Google LA has it’s benefits.

Learn the tactics involved in baking without dairy, eggs, and refined sugar, or odd ingredients. The entire operation was developed by Fran Costigan, vegan pastry chef-instructor and author of Great Good Desserts Naturally, More Great Good Desserts Naturally, and the Vegan Chocolate: Unapologetically Luscious and Decadent Dairy-Free Desserts, the books considered the “bibles” of vegan pastry arts.
