Boo! Halloween is here.
I’ve got a great round-up of homemade vegan Halloween treats today for you, ranging from healthy (fruit) to indulgent and suitable for all ages. Some are super simple and others are more involved but all are fabulous. I appreciate all of the bloggers who shared their recipes. Do check out their blogs.
When choosing chocolate and candies for Halloween, understand that slavery is still entrenched in the production of chocolate and sugar. You can check Food Empowerment Project’s chocolate list, which is kept up to date. Recently, I watched the Netflix show Rotten and was shocked and heartbroken to see in real time the horrors surrounding every step of bringing chocolate and sugar to the market. Choose what makes you comfortable, but be aware of the issues.
Now make something yummy. Trick & Treat!!
